Had the same problem with Safari quits unexpectedly - Exception Type: EXC_BREAKPOINT (SIGTRAP) and Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000 and Exception Note: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY
Safari Version 10.0 (12602.1.50.0.10)
The only suggestion I could add to the excellent procedures outlined above, is to FIRST START by disabling all the Safari Extensions (as outlined in Eric Root's final paragraph), using Safari Preferences -> Extensions and un-select all extensions. I hope you'll have time to do this before Safari quits unexpectedly. Quit safari and then relaunch Safari to see if Safari stays up and stable. If it does, then the problem is one of your extensions (extensions, or their associated files, can become corrupt or out of date). Then, if Safari is stable, just as Eric suggests, one by one turn one extension back on, quit and restart Safari, and repeat this procedure until you find the offending extension (e.g. Safari starts crashing again). If a Safari extension is the reason for your Safari stability problem, the other procedures that Eric outlines first are a bit "user cruel" to start with. You won't realize how much you'll miss the information and Safari "pleasantries" that the Safari files in Eric's first paragraph provides until they're gone!
Another minor correction.... The path to the com.apple.Safari/Cache.db file DOES NOT contain a period (as shown in the posting above); Thus the correct path to Cache.db would be (from within your home directory)
Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Eric provides so much good information that, 9 out of 10, it will get your Safari working again! If it doesn't then there's still conflicts somewhere. Look at those Crash Logs and try and find the offender. If you find out what your problem was, then please come back and tell us what you found. Many thanks!
